Abstract

There has been a study that entered into quasi-experimental research. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of learning model of POGIL based on Brainstorming to improve logic inference ability in students. This research uses the Nonequivalent Control Group Design method. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 9 Purworejo. Research subjects all students of class XI-IPA SMA Negeri 9 Purworejo. The data were obtained from the observation sheet and quantitative value analysis and made the interpretation of the result of the analysis according to the problem and the research question and made the conclusion. The results of this study obtained the facilities and infrastructure used during the learning process meets the standards of eligibility. Average inability of student experiment class logic 80,19% and gain 0,59 with medium category. The average of learning achievement of teachers in three meetings is 3.46 stated "good" with average Percentage Agreement (PA) 98,13% stated "very reliable", mean of student learning implementation at three meeting that is 3,49 stated "good" with mean Percentage Agreement (PA) 98.06% stated "very reliable". Student response during good learning with result 96,18%.
